 We need YOU!

Can you afford 30 minutes a week out of your life?  (Why, only ½ hour, you say?)  Then you too can be a Lunch Buddy!  We already have 12 great volunteers, but we have a whole list of children waiting for a Lunch Buddy here at Picnic Point.

What is the Lunch Buddy program?  It’s where an adult volunteer spends one lunch a week with a child who needs some extra attention and a good friend to provide some positive support.  You can have lunch together in a special place, then play games, read books, talk, do homework, work on the computer, etc. and make a BIG difference in a child’s life.

If you have other family members or neighbors who would also be willing to make a child very happy, please ask them to call also.  Thanks for caring!
